Changed my subdomain to subdirectory – can no longer access
-
Hi there,
Rookie error, but I was experimenting with routing as we are planning a restructure, and changed the subdomain value (hosted on wordpress) to a subdirectory (not hosted on wordpress).
I changed it back immediately, but right now only the root of the subdomain is rendering (with the styles broken), and trying to access the login is rerouting me to a 404. How do I fix this?

Hi there:
We are unable to help because we don’t host your site directly on our WordPress.com managed hosting. Instead, your site is hosted with a different provider on a separate host, and we’re unable to access your site’s backend to take a closer look. But I can get you pointed in the right direction.
The good news is that because your host uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com), help is available at the community forums here:
https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
The folks in the open-source forum are more familiar with these issues and are in the best position to help.
I hope this points you in the right direction.
