Changed my URL

    Hi, I hope you can help as I don’t have clue what I am doing. I changed my URL and the site address for the above site. I thought I was changing the web address for the site (as I have decided to have a change of focus).
    I know can’t access my wordpress admin. Please can you help me resovle the situation. I am quite new to word press and have no idea really about coding etc.

    I would like to:
    1) Change my website address to something different (ideally tyresandtrails.com if this is available) although I now realise this is a bigger thing to do than simply changing the URL address.
    2) Know how to access my ‘control panel’. Many youtube videos I watch seem to assume that you know which third part site you use for the control panel but I have no idea about this.

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another host.

    Changing the domain on a stand-alone WordPress site like yours has to follow a specific process. You can find the documentation for that process here, though many hosting providers have their own process for this via their hosting control panel.
