Changed my username and now I can't access my blog.

Hey all,
On my primary account (this is an old one) I just recently changed my username from “amgilbert89” to “hiddenm” and now don’t have access to my blog. Can anyone help with this? I’m being treated like a completely different person and have even received an email that I am now following myself (after I hit the follow button out of curiousity) yet I can’t access anything from the dashboard of when I was using amgilbert89, which is now deleted supposedly for good. Anyone have any ideas or should I wait for tech to get back tomorrow? =/
(hiddenm also currently can’t access the forums because he doesn’t have a blog now).
