changed screen options won't save

  Using Windows 7 & Chrome. On the Posts Edit screen I pull down the Screen Options list and UNcheck the things that I do not want to see (ie, Likes & Shares, Discussion, Writing Helper, Featured Image). WordPress support site says that after changing the screen options they automatically “save” … but mine won’t save … writing helper, discussion etc sections still are on the screen (pushing down the Excerpts box that I do want to use every time). I put wordpress.com in Chrome’s cookies ALLOW list but that did not help. What do I need to do to get my changes to save or be the default for me? Thanks!

  Hi there,

  It looks like you may have already gotten this sorted out. When I just took a look at your composition window, all of the features which you said you didn’t want displayed were in fact hidden. Only the composition window, the tag module, and the excerpt module were displayed. It also bears mentioning that these modules can be re-arranged by grabbing them in the top of their individual windows and dragging/dropping them to re-order them.
