  Hi
  i changed my site from racevdk.wordpress.com to racev.wordpress.com, and updated the info on my url racev.online. But racev.online still points to the old site (racevdk.wordpress.com) everywhere i look everything seems in order, but racev.online still points to the old site. what is wrong?

  Hi there,

  I’ve had a look at the settings for your domain, and I noticed that you have changed your name servers to Cloudflare ones. This is the reason why your domain no longer points to your WordPress.com site. Name servers essentially direct internet traffic to the correct location, so when you changed them to Cloudflare’s, your domain began pointing there instead of to your WordPress.com site.

  If you want your domain racev.online to point to your new site address (racev.wordpress.com), you will need to change the name servers back to the WordPress.com ones. This will ensure that your domain directs traffic to your new WordPress site.

  Additionally, I want to mention that if you want to make your domain (racev.online) your site’s primary address, a paid plan is needed. As it stands now, your domain simply redirects to your free WordPress.com address (racev.wordpress.com). A paid plan allows you to truly utilize your custom domain and can provide a more seamless experience for your visitors.

  Thank you for your reply! It didn’t work i’m afraid. i have left the settings you asked for and hope you can help me further.

  I know about the payed option, but i wanna make this work and test out if it is something that will work for my family, until then it would be a waste to throw the money after it.
