Changed site address – all site files gone
-
Hi,
I was trying to make the www prefix work for my site casorioxanocafred.com but after changing once the site address all the files seem to have disappeared. I tried reverting to the original values but even so nothing is fixed.
Thanks,

Hi Pia,
WordPress.com doesn’t use the www prefix, it’s removed automatically — users who type it in will still be directed to your site though.
I’ve reverted the DNS change for your domain casorioxanocafred.com back to the default settings, you should see your site again. :)
In the meantime you can always log into make changes here:

Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi Evan,
Thanks a lot for the help. I was actually hosting the site on Godaddy, how can I revert to those settings? Otherwise everything that I had done is now gone. Also, the www prefix wasn’t working previously, how can I go about fixing that too?
Thanks,

Hi Evan, just managed to restore everything back to normal (changed domain settings back to the Godaddy server and corrected the WP Address). Thanks again for the your help!
Pia
