Changed Site URL

  i have changed the url of my site and now the site has logged me out and says ‘coming soon’

  I’m sorry but we cannot provide accurate answers to any blogger who fails to provide the exact URL starting with http:// for the exact blog they refer to so we can verify where it is hosted. Please do that now.

  although the site always displayed as http:/boppa.org/home

  I went in and changed both the site URL and wordpress URL to http://boppa.org as I thought it was a more specific URL to follow but then it logged me out and when I go to search for the site, or log back in to my dashboard it tells me ‘coming soon’ and redirects…

  http://boppa.org/home/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.boppa.org%2Fhome%2Fwp-admin%2Findex.php&reauth=1

  http://boppa.org/wp-login.php is what comes up on screen. I’m freaking out as I have current students needing to access the information on the site for start of term next week…

  Any help would be much appreciated!

  There is no domain mapping upgrade for boppa.org at WordPress.COM.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
