Changed site url but don’t know the original one

    Hi, I accidentally changed the site url thinking I was changing the home url. I have watched videos and I know how to fix the problem. The only issue is that I do not know what the original site url was. Does anybody have any suggestions for figuring this out? Thanks

    Based on your wording, this sounds like it was a site not on WordPress.com hosting. WordPress sites on other hosts that use WordPress.org software have a home and site URL, but sites on this host do not. The site URL is where the installation of WordPress is, versus home possibly being the home page of the site that is outside of WordPress. They can be the same domain name.

    Keep in mind that if the site isn’t hosted on WordPress.com servers, then the forums at https://wordpress.org/support will be better for this question. Here’s a bit about the differences- https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
