Changed theme, added live composer, now not working. newibe here!!

  I’m brand new to WP. Someone said Nirvana was easy theme, loaded it, I found it bulky. Replaced with Fine theme, after adding Live Composer to make page dev easier.
  I think things are not deleting out, like mainmenu items, from Nirvana maybe? Don’t know how to clean out the old so I can see the new customizations I’ve entered 3-4 times now, and which disappear when I ‘view page.’
  Very frustrated :<(
