Changed theme, and posts are not appearing under categories

  Hi there,

  I’ve changed my theme, and my posts are not appearing under categories but do appear under archives. I have had this problem previously, and followed the instructions for “Adding Category Pages”.

  This hasn’t worked in this instance. Your assistance is much appreciated!

  Correct link to a category page:
  http://dailyinspirationboard.com/category/career-and-productivity/
  Link on your navigation bar (menu):
  http://dailyinspirationboard.com/career-and-productivity/

  The first one works. The second one is not what you mean to link to.
  I’ll leave it to you to check the others on your custom menu.

  Obviously you had created static pages at first, then you learned that you needed to create and activate a custom menu with category pages.
  Now, when you switch to a different theme, custom menus get deactivated, so the new theme displays its regular menu (links to all your static pages). You need to go to Appearance > Menus and re-activate the menu you had created (by setting it as your primary menu).

  Thanks – I have deleted the menu and started again using categories, selecting primary menu, and this appears to have worked. Much appreciated!

  You’re welcome, but you didn’t have to delete the menu and start over. You had created and activated a correct menu when you were using Oxygen: all you had to do was re-activate that menu.
