Changed theme, how do I reset the site?

I have changed to the Sela theme but it looks nothing like the theme preview (it has all the starting images from the old theme). How do I reset everything so that it looks like a new site with the Sela theme?

Ok, so I’ve started to figure out how to get the Sela theme to look like the preview bit by bit. Looking at the forums it seems I’m not the only person who would like a ‘reset site’ option, and I find it surprising that there isn’t one. When you first start your site, you want to be able to try different themes and have a play around with them. But every time you change your theme it comes out looking nothing like the preview and you have to spend hours trying to put it right.
Feature suggestion: a ‘Reset site’ option next to ‘Delete site’.

HI there,
I can set the site up for you like the demo site, but that will undo any changes you might have made already and delete any content you’ve added with no way to get it back. Please confirm if you want me to do that.
You can also set the site up like the demo yourself by following the instructions here:

Regarding a reset site option, we’ve talked about this but it’s not that easy to implement. Given that this particular action is also completely irreversible it’s risky to let people do it themselves without us first explaining the consequences – we’ve found people tend to ignore the warning messages we show when a certain action cannot be reversed :)
