changed theme, sudden influx of unknown followers

  I changed from 2011 to Satellite about 5 days ago. Since then I have gained at least 60 new “followers”, many with strange looking addresses, and none of whom I can identify. My readership grew steadily over the last 3 1/2 years but this strange influx never happened with 2010 or 2011. What’s going on? Why did Satellite attract this and not the previous 2 themes?
