Changed titles of pictures don't show in posts (Cerauno theme)
-
I just recently added proper titles to all my pictures using the title field (available in WP admin / media). The new titles replaced the standard file name in the title field.
But those changes do not appear in my posts. Mouseover still shows the old title (file name).
I’m using the Cerauno theme.
Example:
<img class="alignnone size-full" title="wpid-wp-1443349023928.jpg" src="http://i0.wp.com/unterwegs13.files.wordpress.com/2015/09/wpid-wp-1443349023928.jpg?w=1408?w=1999" alt="image">This picture’s (new) ‘title’ is set as “Bildverzeichnis der Reise Nordseeküste” in the media manager of WP admin.
‘alt’ seems to stick to “image” permanently, too?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there! To adjust settings for images already in a post, you would need to open the post and edit the image directly in there.
When you open the post to edit while in wp-admin, click the image to select it, then click the pencil to edit. Once in there, you’ll see settings to adjust. Click the “advanced options” to see more, including a title box. There is more information, including screenshots, here to show what’s available there: https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-settings/#within-posts
Alternatively, you could switch to the HTML/Text editor and adjust the HTML for the image directly by changing the title text there. Or if you’ve adjusted things within the Media Library, you could remove the image from the post, then insert it again like-new and it will insert with HTML that matches the new information.
Let me know if you have any questions! :)
