Changed URL – can't log in
-
I had built a site on http://37.60.244.227/~krist469/ and would access via http://37.60.244.227/~krist469/wp-admin/
I wanted the URL kristenbshaw.com to be the URL for the website, the original website builder (project was passed on to me) registered the URL with bluehost and had it pointing to a maintenance page on a different wordpress site.
The sitefiles on bluehost were deleted.
I tried redirecting traffic from kristenbshaw.com to http://37.60.244.227/~krist469/ and that worked, but I realized I needed the domain to be kristenbshaw.com. I then went into the backend of wordpress and entered “kristenbshaw.com” as the website URL in the general settings tab.
I then realized I could no longer log into my website via http://37.60.244.227/~krist469/wp-admin/ and my logins won’t work for kristenbshaw.com/wp-admin. I then reversed the traffic redirect via Bluehost.
I now cannot access my site at all. I have spoken with bluehost and they told me I need to download my site files and export them to bluehost in order to point the domain in the right place. I, however, can’t log in anymore and desperately need help accessing my site. Thank you for your help!

NS1.BLUEHOST.COM
NS2.BLUEHOST.COMHi there, I see that Staff replied to your question in this thread and advised you that you need to post to the support forums for the standalone WordPress software at https://wordpress.org/support for assistance with your site.
Just to clarify again, this support forum assists users of WordPressdotcom hosted sites. Standalone WordPress (org) and WordPressdotcom (where we are ) are different entities with separate documentation and support forums; more information about the differences: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Best wishes for a quick solution.
