Changed user name

  A while back, I changed my user name. When I did so, my previous blog site disappeared. I still see my blogs from back then, but obviously links to those blogs no longer work because it says the site was removed at the author’s request. I never wanted to remove the site. So all of my followers from then, and the links to all of those blogs, no longer work. Is there a way to reinstate that site, or merge the two, since I am the same person?

  You failed to provide any relevant details such as the former username and the URLs of any sites registered under it. Please do that now.

  Good evening,
  I did not fail to do it. I chose not to because I was only asking if it’s possible to merge them. If it’s not, then that’s all I needed to know.

  Hi there,

  When you changed your username, you also changed your site address, so all the content, stats and followers that were on the old site is now on the new site. Links to the old address will no longer work, but everyone who had followed the old site are still following now via the new site.

  As you deleted the old site over 8 months ago there is no way to restore that address any more.
