Changed username

  So i changed this profiles username from belldandu to fffsssf because its really a throwaway account i would have liked to have deleted because it was created by accident. I then went to change michaelfox648 to belldandu but it said the username exists. I just changed my username so wtf is wrong with your system?

  You can change your username but this support doc https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/ says:

  Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name.

  so basically im stuck with a unwanted username because their system created a new username under an email already linked to my account… great.
