Changed username cannot access blog

  I currently run psychologiques.wordpress.com. I changed my username from halfpint4ku to npaulie so it looked more professional. However, after doing this, when I log in now under the new username I no longer have access to the dashboard of my blog website. If someone could let me know what I need to do to regain access to my dashboard it would be very helpful.

  Try clearing your browser cache and cookies and then try the direct link to your dashboard below: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

  http://psychologiques.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  Tried clearing the browser cache and cookies, and when I log into wordpress with the new username my blog still does not show up on my dashboard. Tried again logging in with the old username just in case. It shows that username no longer exists.

  I’m assuming what happened was that when i changed my username, my corresponding blog did not go with it?

  Thank you very much. If it matters (for when they reply) I also have a personal blog associated with that username which I also cannot access.

  Hi there,

  It looks like your WordPress.com blog is actually now owned by a different username. For security reasons I cannot provide that username, but if there are any other usernames which you use then you might want to check those. You can also go to this page:

  http://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  And try resetting your password using any email addresses you generally use. If you aren’t able to gain access you can use the account recovery link available on that page to submit your information and get help from one of our recovery experts.
