Changed username, can't make blog with said name.

So I changed my username and for some reason I can’t make a new blog with the name. Is there any way to fix it?

Sorry I meant web address, let me try be more specific:
When I changed my web address I chose the option to delete the old stuff, but did not make a new blog. Now when I try to make a new site I can’t use the new web address.
It will only let me make a new site with a different address than the new one I just made. -

Changing a URL is meant to be a permanent and irreversible act. No changed or deleted blog URLs are recycled here, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago

If the old address was “deleted” that is correct. Can you confirm which site address you are asking about?

Juralife.wordpress.com, was the original address I wanted to use. And as shown from timetheif’s post it is not available anymore.

Yes, there’s nothing else we can do for that site.
My suggestion is to start fresh with a new site address.

Ok. Another option is to use a custom domain. juralife.com for example is available and you could use that. Let me know if you have any other questions.
