Changed username, hoping to get back

  Hi all – I changed my username tonight and then tried to change it back, and it won’t let me saying the old username is already in use. Can I make this change?

  Warning message that appear while changing the username:

  Important: You will not be able to change your username back. The old name will be reserved and no one will have access to it. URLs for other services such as Gravatar may be affected.

  So if you have changed the username it is not possible to get it back. But if you want to show the same username to the people then you can go ahead by changing your display name to the old one.
