changed username lost all images and eventually the blog

  hi there!

  I`m new to wordpress.com. after setting up my portfolio I changed my username and url. all of the sudden my images were unable to load in full and even my media library was unable to display them. the images were visible on the blogs frontpage and also in the mosaik media gallery, which I set up for each post (work sample).

  Then I tried to change my username and url back to the old name, in order to have the url’s of the images correctly linked together again. However, I got a warning that this username is taken already (funny, eh :) … so no changing back to the old url…

  Ultimately both blogs are gone for some reason and I suppose all the stuff I uploaded as well. Not to speak of all the time I invested in doing so! Can anyone please tell me, what is going on here ?!

  Hi. Similar situation as above. I changed my domain from:fiddlegal7.com to planetearth5.com but a message came to my e-mail saying planetearth.com was taken-but I wanted planetearth5.com- and I have a new dashboard without my blogs? Thanks for your help. Lin
