  I’m trying to edit my post, but the features seemed to have changed. Now there is no option for adding categories or tags, and no way to add a personalized message in the sharing section. Did something change?

  If you click on the post in the post editor then categories and tags are there on the left. Sharing is just below. If you mean the new dashboard looks and works differently to the old dashboard that you are more used to, you can still use wp-admin if you’d rather. https://anothergooddog.wordpress.com/wp-admin or just add wp-admin to the end of your address if you’re talking about a different site.

  those buttons are usually there, but they aren’t now. it’s bizarre. was there a recent change to the editor?

  Which editor has missing buttons. The new/My Sites one or the old/wp-admin one or both?

  IT was bizarre. I finally found my draft (through browser history) and reloaded it and this time all the regular buttons were there and worked. I guess it was some kind of bug. Everything looked normal, but the regular features on the side weren’t there. Alls well that ends well, I suppose, but a frustrating waste of an hour this morning. thanks for your input!
