Changes for Facebook Integration
-
Would it be possible to integrate Facebook’s Open Graph API to WordPress? This would allow us all some nice features to include on our blogs.
If this possible already I would really appreciate some help on going about adding these features to my blog.
Also, would it be possible to link our Facebook page, rather than our own profile, to our blog? I’d like new posts to be automatically shared to my Facebook Page as a link to help drive traffic to my blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, this will allow me to post them to my Facebook profile, but I don’t want my posts shared on my profile, I want them shared to my blog’s “fan” page.

The last time I checked (several months ago) WP.com’s publicize feature does not include a picture thumbnail. For that reason I unchecked the feature. You’re better off doing a copy-n-paste of your blogs URL into your Facebook Page. Works better and you have control.

There are five ways you can use to share them on your fan page that I know of. See > Importing wordpress posts snippets into a Facebook fan page

Thanks timethief, exactly what I needed!
I still think WordPress should integrate the Open Graph API so we can more easily use like buttons and the other social plug-ins. Again, if it’s possible to do this already some help is appreciated.

re: like buttons and the other social plug-ins
There is no FTP access to wurdpress.com blogs and we cannot use social bookmarking plugins. However, we do have several alternative methods of social bookmarking each post prior to publication, and there is a Facebook ‘like” button we can use as well . Social bookmarks for WordPress.COM blogs
