Changes for Goran Theme (font, the top band, etc…)
-
Dear WordPress users, my brothers and Romans;
I am an illiterate beginner with WordPress and started a new website. It is not great, it is not the best but I need it. :) http://www.80proof.co is the addy.
The thing is, I want to get rid of the grey-transparent band on top of the page;
Use the font Gotham (if possible, at every part of the site),
And finally, having a more compact look by making the images at the grid closer to each other and having less space between the text on top and the grid.
Anyone have any ideas? I am not using the totally custom CSS.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @mattdemp, you are not allowed to hide or edit the WordPress.com and theme footer credits per our Terms of Service (#1, Attribution). See the Frequently Asked Questions on the Custom Design support page for more information.
You are allowed to restyle the footer credits to better fit with your design as long as they remain readable. If you need help restyling the existing footer credits, let us know and we would be happy to help. Please remove this from your custom CSS
.site-info { display: none; }On the band at the top, the following will remove that. Since the text is white, with a text shadow, I’ve also included a rule to allow you to change the text color and I’ve removed the text shadow. I’ve set the font color in the navigation to black, but you can edit that as desired.
.hero-image .site-header { background: none; } .main-navigation a { color: #000; text-shadow: none; }On the Gotham font, we are limited to the fonts shown at Customize > Fonts. We cannot upload or use fonts from outside of WordPress.com. Perhaps you can find one in our list of fonts that is close.
We can use the following CSS to tighten up the grid. Originally the right margin was 72px, so I reduced it by 50px to 22. When that is done, there ends up being more space on the right side of the white content area than on the left, so I have also reduced the overall width of the white area so that the spacing on left and right is the same. Let me know what you think with this.
.featured-page, .footer-navigation, .footer-widget, .front-page-widget, .grid, .widget-area { margin-right: 22px; } .site { max-width: 1130px; width: 100%; }
