Changes to Hemingway

  I was hoping to use Hemingway but the widgets are very limited. There is a note that says:”Many themes can be updated in five to ten minutes. Others will take an hour or two to get all of the kinks worked out. Some will look awful no matter what you do. This document assumes basic PHP editing skills.”
  What I want to know is – is Hemingway on of the themes that will take 2 hours to add widgets to and still look awful? I don’t have PHP skills so it is going to be a battle for me and there is no point if it is going to look bad anyway.

  Hemingway is indeed one of those themes. Try using something else instead, and if you set it to display one post per page you can do some amazing things with it and maybe make it look the way you wanted Hemingway to look.

  You can always play with the CSS in the free preview to get an idea of how hard it’s going to be and whether or not it’s worth buying the upgrade.

  It’s a gorgeous theme, but it’s a PIA to work with.
