Changin the title “home” removing “subscribe to feed”

  I just started the first blog of my life and everything looks fine except for two things:

  Is the title “Home” in the header somehow uneditable in theme Tarski? I’m not writing my blow in English, so I would like to translate that title too. Just cant’t find out how.

  And: can I get rid of “Subscribe to feed”-links? I don’t have a clue about what they are for, so I don’t believe I will be needing them.

  The home link is hardcoded into your theme and most themes here. It should be translate though if you choose the language option at Dashboard -> Options -> General -> Language of your blog. if it doesn’t, send in a feedback and point this out to staff along with the language you’re writing in and what it should translate to.

  The subscribe to feed links are hardcoded into the theme as well. They’re actually not for the blogger but for your visitors so that they can be made aware of when you update your blog. You may want to consider leaving them in.

  Thanks for the quick reply.

  I checked the language options but it did not help. The language of my blog is Finnish (fi – Suomi). Everything else in the blo is in Finnish except for the text “home”. It should be translated to “koti” (home) or “alku” (beginning).

  You can try working with the translation project if you have the time. You can send feedback as well although I don’t know how staff would feel about that.
