Changing 3 to 6 square on front page (Edin Template)

    Hi every one !

    I work on Edin template. And I want to change someting on my Front Page.
    Today, I only have 3 square pictures under the header. I would like to have 6 (like I can do with the Grid Page style).
    So I want the Front Page with all its functions, but with more than 3 square pictures.

    How do I have to change the code ? I am not used to change code, but I think I can do it with help :)

    Hi.

    I’m afraid this is not a display or style matter that can be solved with CSS magic. You could change width to be able to put 6 pictures in a row, but if your Theme is displaying only three, that will be usefulness.

    It seems you need Grid Page Template to do that. Anyway, just to be sure: what do you need from your Front Page Template not in Grid Page… maybe we can fix that :)

    Hello !

    Thank you very much for your answer.
    At the beginning I used the Grid page template to have more than 3 squares on my home page.
    But I wanted to have something special : I wanted the first square and the text under to be the last article I wrote on my blog page. So I set my first square as “Blog page”. But only the page title “news” displayed. No the text and the picture of my last article.
    That’s why I changed for the Front Page template.

    Do you think I can change something for this ?

    Hi @ chloelanthier1, to do what you are wanting would require editing and rewriting the theme php script files, and we cannot do that at WordPress.com.
