Changing a Blog Address

  I have followed the directions for “Changing a Blog Address,” however, when I click on “My Blogs” from the top left corner (versus the tab along the top) I see the same exact screen as if I used the “My Blogs” tab, not the one displayed on the help page. Is this a WordPress error or a user error? If WordPress, when the issue be resolved? If user, can you please advise?

  Hi jbrooks0724,

  I believe that how to get to the My Blog page described in the documentation is to go into the WordPress Admin section. Then under the heading Dashboard there is a link called My Blogs.

  If you click that link it should take you to the page described and you should get a link to change blog address when you hover over the one you want to change.

  You can change the URL by using this guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/
  Look closely at the image to find the correct My Blogs location

  Note that both changing a URL or deleting a URL are permanent and irreversible actions.
