Changing a blog address, how it affects the old address…
-
Not technically proficient, need help. I have created a blog, smithkillian.wordpress.com and now the gallery name has changed to anglin smith (anglinsmith.wordpress.com is what I would like to use). Will viewers be able to see smithkillian.wordpress.com posts if I change the blog address to anglinsmith.wordpress.com? Can you tell me the best way to go about this? Or am I losing the posts that are on the smithkillian blog if I do this? (if I keep the old smithkillian.wordpress address)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Provided your purchase a site redirect upgrade there will be no broken links to your content and all of the smithkillian.wordpress.com links when clicked will seamlessly redirect to the same content under the anglinsmith.wordpress.com URL.
However, I would not do that at all. I would choose to purchase a domain and domain mapping upgrade instead. This choice also means that when clicked all links will also seamlessly redirect to the same content under the domain URL.
