changing a page to a post…or vice versa

  my second blog post ever…..”after the big jump….” and I admit…I am very new to this…and techno/blog-challenged….but….I hit create a new post….wrote it…published….and …it’s a page. Not that that’s a bad thing, but I would rather have it in the posts like intended….can this be changed?? the title of this “page” is in the permalink and is always at the top of the blog….I’m using the Koi theme.
  please help….even though this is probably silly.

  Go to edit the wayward Page – click on the “html” tab in the editor and copy everything in the edit window.

  Now go to make a new Post – click on the “html” tab and paste everything you copied from the above step into the edit window. Fix the title and you are ready to save draft or go straight to publish.

  Once the new Post is published and you are happy with it go back and delete to old Page or set it back to Draft Status (search engines don’t like duplicate content)

  There you should be.

  If you’re referring to “After the Big Jump” then you will have to copy/paste it into the Write Post box and add the title and categories, tags, etc. Then delete the Page.
