Changing a Permalink

  I have a wordpress website – walterwalker.org

  The home page address is http://www.walterwalker.org/home
  The second page “about” address is simply http://www.walterwalker.org
  Consequently, the second page is treated like the home page when people go to walterwalker.org

  I need to change the address of the home page to simply walterwalker.org
  and change the “about” page to walterwalker.org/about

  I cannot figure out how to make those changes.

  To do that, switch your static front page choice at Settings -> Reading in your blog’s Dashboard: http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
