changing a published post from standard to gallery view

  For years, I have been able to change each post from standard to gallery view simply by hitting quick edit on a published post and going to a drop-down menu, but now I can no longer find that option. Help!

  Hi there!

  We’ve recently updated the post editor which changed slightly how you would update the post format. On your most recent post, if you go in to edit it, you will see this link:
  http://d.pr/i/XSXS

  Click “Change format” and a drop down list will appear – just click the format you want to use and update/save the post to save it.

  Hi Carolyn,
  I followed your instrux and cannot for the life of me find http://d.pr/i/XSXS anywhere on the edit page. I tried viewing Quick Edit as well as full edit. I scoured the page and it’s just not there. Please help again.

  My apologies! It seems the new editor changes haven’t been fully implemented yet.

  If you go into the Post Editor, you will see the “Format” module on the right hand side with these options:

  If for some reason you don’t see anything under the “Format” heading, hover your mouse over Format until you see a downward facing triangle on the right side. Clicking that triangle will expand the options there for you.
