Changing A record for custom business email

    Hi,

    My domain provider have requested WordPress change the A record for mail in order for them to provide me with custom business email address.
    I tried to do this myself however got a warning message saying by doing this it would result in no longer being able to load my wordpress domain so didn’t edit anything.

    Somebody from WP yesterday said that by changing an A record it redirects the whole site, however my provider have now said that only the A record for mail should be changed and perhaps WP haven’t understood the request correctly.

    I’m really in over my head with this is anyone able to help me?!
