changing a set “Page” title after moving blog

I moved a blog part of my website to another site on its own (from wordpress to wordpress). When I moved it, the default “homepage” Page title became “blog” as opposed to anything else (like “home”). I hope that makes sense. Anyway, it’s not listed as a page in my Pages, but it IS a page.
I’m sorry if this doesn’t make sense so far!

Anyway, I am just wondering if there is any way I can re-title it. I don’t see it as an option anyway.

The website is http://whiskingandwriting.wordpress.com, and you can see that it says “blog” at the top. I’d like to rename that. Is there any way, or not because I moved the site?

    Thank you so much!

What the main page is called in any particular theme may be different and is a decision of the designer of the theme. In the case of K2, the designer called it “Blog.” Others might call it “home” and others might call it “front.” Again it is up to the designer.

There is no way to change the name of main page of the blog since that is defined or set in the underlying theme PHP script files and we do not have access to those files. With wordpress.COM being a multi-user platform, any change to a theme by one blogger would change it for everyone using that theme. We all share the same files.
