Changing a wordpress.com for a wordpress.org
-
Greetings!
I have a self-hosted worpress.com blog in http://www.imperiobizantino.com and I want to be able to use AdSense, so I want to change my wordpress.com blog for a worpress.org blog.
Is it possible?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @bizantinistica, Yes, you can! There are some great instructions on the Support site that will give you an introduction to the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Also, if you need help actually moving the site, you may want to ask your new “web-host” that is talked about in the link above or post in the WordPress.org forums to see if someone can help you there, http://wordpress.org/support/
Good luck!

The instructions for exporting your content out of your WordPress.com free hosted blog and importing it into a WordPress.org install are found at the links below. Please note that links must be separately exported and imported. Also note that all content in text widgets must be copied and pasted as it cannot be exported.

If you prefer you can purchase a guided transfer upgrade and Staff here will do the moving set up for you. -
Note also that as you have a domain mapping upgrade you will have to update the nameservers as well as moving your content.

It is a bit more complicated than I imagined, but thank you guys very much for the answers.
