Changing account email changed made dashboard links point to zh-tw.wordpress.com

  I changed the email in my wordpress.com blog and received an email at the new address asking me to confirm the change. When I clicked the link, I was directed to a WordPress.com main page in Chinese. Now, when I’m logged into my dashboard, most of the words are in English, but all the links for performing tasks are in Chinese. When I mouse over these links, they point to URLs like http://zh-tw.wordpress.com/post/ How do I get these buttons pointing to en.wordpress.com again? Also: according to my profile, the email address change is still “pending.”

  Okay – problem fixed by changing the language interface to English on my profile page.

  I’m having the same issues, and after changing the language settings to English it will revert back to Chinese repeatedly. Did you have a similar problem or did fixing it once take care of that?

  Thanks for letting us know about this. I see that both of you are back to the English language settings. Some adjustments we made to language settings recently caused that glitch for some users — sorry about that! You should be all set now, but if you have trouble with this again please let us know. :)
