Changing account from individual to business and upgrading to premium

  Can an individual account be changed to a business account? Want to upgrade to a premium account under the organization name rather than mine and want to make sure that such change of ownership is possible before proceeding. Unfortunately, there is no way to contact a member of the support team of WordPress directly. They simply offer no avenue.

  I would appreciate any help from the community. Thank you.

  There is no such thing as a “business account” or a “personal account.” There are just accounts here.

  If you want to change the ownership of a blog, make the new owner’s account an Admin of that blog and once they accept the invitation, your old account can leave the blog via the Manage My Blogs page.

  If you want to buy upgrades for a blog, buy them with the account that will be managing the blog in future, and buy them from the dashboard of that particular blog.

  Since email is the key to accounts here – set up the new account with an email that will be part of the organization forever – but don’t loose the email account and don’t use a slime system that drops your email if it is not used for a while
