Changing Address of blog.

  I have a A. wordpress.com blog and want to change the address to B.wordpress.com URL. I also want to keep all the contents including posts, comments and everything else to be as it is. I read about changing the blog address but it states that then I will not be able to reuse A.wordpress.com.

  Currently, I want to change the address, the blog will be the same exact blog with the same contents (just with new address), but I also want that I am able to use my old URL in future.

  I didn’t find this answered anywhere so any info would be appreciated.

  Hi,

  I have successfully changed A.wordpress.com to B.wordpress.com. Howevere B.wordpress.com is still pointing to Ablog.com instead I want it to show Bblog.com in the URL.

  How can I do that?

  Hi, Currently my blog address is informagerealtekblog.com which I want to change it to informagerealtyblog.com. Earlier when I was typing informagerealtekblog.com or informagerealtek.wordpress.com it was taking me to informagerealtekblog.com.

  Now, after changing the blog address from informagerealtek.wordpress.com to informagerealty.wordpress.com I still see informagerealtekblog.com in the addressbar.
  Kindly help me, how can I have informagerealtyblog.com in address bar as we have changed our domain from informagerealtek.com to informagerealty.com

  You have changed your WordPress.com address from informagerealtek.wordpress.com to informagerealty.wordpress.com.

  However, a .com domain name cannot be renamed once it’s registered. The premium upgrade (which also includes your .com domain) will expire at 2014-04-27.

  You can decide to let this upgrade expire until 2014-04-27 and then purchase a new premium upgrade at http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/

  If you just want to register a new domain name, then go to Store -> My Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there.
