Changing admin email

    I had my wordpress site moved to a SiteGround domain, but I didn’t know that the ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ email was digitally input and I deleted it because I created a less robotic ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ admin email. Now I have gone to the settings page to try and change the admin email, but it says it is sending an email confirmation.
    Is it sending a confirmation to the new email or the old deleted one?

    it sounds like you’re talking about a self-hosted WordPress.org site – we are not able to help with these.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
