Changing admin email address

I’m an admin user of Guitars for Africa’s WP site, guitarsforafrica.com. Each time I try to change the email address in settings/general, it says that a confirmation email will be sent to the new address, (email visible only to moderators and staff). However, that email account has not received a confirmation email, despite my having tried several times.
The message below the current email address says, ‘There is a pending change of the admin email to (email visible only to moderators and staff).’ but nothing is happening. I tried to change the address several days ago and again today.
I require assistance.
