Changing Admin for Blog

  I have been given rights to manage blog posts. the person who gave me this right has left our organization. Is there a way that you can transfer the Admin rights to a new person?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi seethasriraman! Interesting name!

  To gain Admin rights to this blog, you’ll either need to ask him to transfer those rights to you or get the login information for any Admin (more specifically, that person).

  If not, you can always reset the password if you have access to the email/phone the account is linked to.

  This is an urgent request as we need Admin access to the blog asap. The person who managed this blog has left our organization and therefore cannot transfer rights!

  Would it be possible to create a new Admin access to this blog?

  Hi there,

  The person who managed this blog has left our organization and therefore cannot transfer rights!

  We cannot transfer admin rights to another user on the site under any circumstances. Only the owner of the site can transfer ownership to someone else and only an existing admin can create other admins or invite other users to the site. We, as in staff, cannot do this without the owner’s consent.

  If you are unable to contact the owner of the site so they can transfer ownership to someone else, there is nothing else we can do.
