Changing Alt Tags

    I am having trouble changing my photo’s alt tags since the last wordpress upgrade. I have close to 60 entries right now and 10 of those entries I didn’t load the photo with the correct file name. So the photo’s name is 10101022 or something like that. It should say the name of the waterfall instead of the number. In the past all I had to do was click on the landscape icon and retype of the alt tag name so that it would be correct. However, now when I click on the photo it has the alternative text as the waterfall name, but if you right click on the photograph itself it shows the old alt image name. In the new edit box there is no alt text image name that I can see to change. How do I change this name? My photos are getting indexed under the number name (10101022) that they were loaded up as instead of the waterfall name. This means I still need to change the alt tag name. I would hate to rewrite all 10 blogs again and reload all of those photos which would just raise my megabyte limit. Is there a simpler way of just changing the alt tag name?

    “since the last WordPress upgrade”. Hmm. Are you talking about https://oahuhiking.wordpress.com/ or an externally hosted blog using WordPress.ORG software?

    I’m talking about the Oahu hiking site. WordPress just had an upgrade a few months ago. If you click on the little icons to the upper right you can tell that everything is different. Also, everything is different in the stats section. I don’t mind it the differences but I am wondering how to change the names of the alt tags from the random number name that my camera gave the photo to the proper name of the waterfall I am writing about. I need to change the photos inside the posts because I don’t want to rewrite all 10 blogs and reload all 10 photos to each blog post. Anyways, I was able to change the alt tags before the upgrade. Now I cannot figure out how to do it. There is no where to enter the new alt tag name.
