Changing an administrators role

  I am trying, as an administrator, to change another administrators role to contributor and then after a few months, to delete them. I am unable to do so. Please tell me how. Our Pastor retired and we need to handle things ourselves now.

  Did you ascertain if this person is actually the blog’s owner ie. if they registered that site as opposed to someone registering it under their username account?

  Don’t know how to ascertain that, but I suspect they may be the owner. So we would need to change that.
