changing an email on my account

  Hi, my blog references an email that is no longer in use (I left the company). When I try to change it to my primary email- (email visible only to moderators and staff) , I get the message that it is already in use. help!

  Hi there!

  You can not use the same email for two different WordPress.com accounts. You will want to log into the account in question and change its email address to another, throw-away address. That will free up the one you want to use with your account.

  Do not cancel the account before changing the email address as it will block it for 30 days.
