changing attachments on images

  i have attached images to a post and now I want to change the post they are attached to. The post they are attached to i do not want to publish. I want to assign them to a different post.

  Hey there,

  To attach your images to a new post, you’ll need to delete the original post they’re attached to. This will orphan the images. You can then go to the Media page in your blog’s dashboard and select “Unattached”. Select all of the items you’d like to attach to the new post, then choose “Attach to post” from the dropdown at the top or bottom of the list.
