Changing author of posts
-
I originally signed up as sonnyauld and created http://sonnyauld.wordpress.com. Later, I decided to point my personal domain site: http://www.hbauld.com to my wordpress blog and created http://hbauld.wordpress.com and imported all the posts from sonnyauld to hbauld.wordpress.com to begin using it.
Now, whenever I post to hbauld.wordpress.com, it still says the “author” of the posts is sonnyauld. I tried adding a User: hbauld, but that didn’t take, since I am logged in as sonnyauld on both of the blogs and I apparently cannot change that the login.
Any help?

Are you saying that you created both sonnyaud.wordpress and hbauld.wordpress from your user sonnyauld? So, there does not exist a user hbauld? In that case you need to create a user hbauld. The easiest way is to invite yourself by sending an invite to a second email address that you have (or make), see the add users faq below. This invited user then signs up for wordpress under the username hbauld, but does not create a blog. Once accepted, hbauld will appear as author on the very bottom of the edit screen for posts or pages. Select whichever you want. If you wish to use hbauld only then assign hbauld to be administrator, log on as hbauld and make him delete sonnyaud.

Cool, wpvstp. It sounds so simple when you put it that way. I’ll check it out.
Thanks.
