Changing automated email info to followers
-
When I make a new post my followers get a generic email from “WordPress” subject is “daily digest”.
How do I change this to reference my blog’s name.
People are saying they are not reading them as they don’t recognise them.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there!
By default the emails which are sent out to your followers will have your site’s Title set as the “From” and in the subject, however since you’ve left your title blank, it reverts back to being WordPress.com and unfortunately there is no way to change that.
If you’d like to change your title to have your company or site’s title present, you can do so by going in your dashboard to Settings >> General however!

Hello there amigtywp Hapiness Engineer.
Thanks you for your answer – I have a follow up question. I left my title blank as it interferes with my site design – I have a banner with the name, and having them both looks a bit silly.
How can I have the name, but not publish it? Or at the very least change the colour or reduce the font? Can I customise it?
Thank you!

Hello!
If you’d like, you can use the Custom Design addon which is a part of the WordPress.com Premium which you have purchased to hide the title on your page. This requires you to use some CSS coding. If you’re not too familiar with CSS, you might want to check out our CSS Customization Forum, wherein you can find others who have already done the exact same thing that you’re looking to do and go off of their work, or if you cannot find that you can post directly there and one of the volunteers can help you out.
You can find that forum right here:
