Changing background color of content on front page, posts

Hey there,
I was wondering if there is a way to change the background color of certain blocks and content. On my front page, some of the blocks and/or content have a grey background color while some don’t have a background color at all. And when I look at my posts, all of the content has the same grey background color.
Can I change this grey background color or remove it?
(I’m using the ChromeNews theme.)
