changing background of text area in hero slider Debut theme

I’ve tried changing every background color in the hero slider section with new hex codes but can’t get the background (where the blog text copy goes) to change. I’m using the debut theme. Suggestions please! Thank you

Debut is a premium theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no knowledge of how they are designed to operate. When you purchased your premium theme what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer in the Premium Theme Support Forum. There is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s DashboardThe hero slider refers to the large slider on the Home Page Template. The Debut theme description inlcudes a link to a page on the hero slider http://debutdemo.wordpress.com/2012/01/12/theme-options/#options-hero If those instructions are not helpful then posting to the Premium Themes Forum is where to get help.

I don’t help with CSS editing but Staff do. When they enter this thread they will need a link to the blog in question. The blog linked to your username is wearing Coraline and all CSS editing is theme specific. Will you please post and active link starting with http:// to the blog with the Debut theme on it.
