Changing background picture for different pages

So, I have read all of the posts for this same topic . I might have found my solution but I don’t have wordpress.org . I use wordpress.com . I will gladly use wordpress.org … except I also read somewhere that you have to already have your own website to host it on ??? So, if I don’t have a place to host wordpress.org I can’t change my background pictures for different pages . If there is a way to do it without having another host page please educate me because this the only thing stopping me from publishing my blog . If there isn’t a way of getting around this, can I create a website on a place like weebly but connect it to wordpress ??? I am interested in using wordpress because previously when I used it, I received views, comments and followers just from posting . I didn’t have to advertise or anything like that, members of wordpress could see my blog without me doing anything else but posting . Please help, it will be sooooo appreciated .
