changing backround color in portfolio
-
Hi
I’d like to change the background color of my 5 portfolio sub pages to the same color grey that appears on my homepage surrounding the 5 thumbnails there.
Would anyone know how to do that?Thanks in advance!

The Admin bar has been removed from the top of the site and leaving it intact is a Terms of Service requirement.

ok heres the answer from helpdesk
Oh actually this Admin bar restriction won’t apply to you as you are using our beta Business plan. So you don’t have to do anything. You are not violating our terms of service.

Hi Lily, try removing this from your custom CSS:
.page-id-500 div#content, .page-id-502 div#content, .page-id-504 div#content, .page-id-453 div#content, .page-id-506 div#content { background: #DCDCDC; }And adding this instead:
.page-id-500 #content, .page-id-502 #content, .page-id-504 #content, .page-id-453 #content, .page-id-506 #content { background-color: #d1d1d1; }The grey is slightly different, and the divs are not needed.
Let me know if this is what you’re after!

Hi Kathrine,
Thank you! I was too impatient and a kind person from the Helpdesk gave me a bit of code to get the soft grey I was after:
.page-id-500 div#content, .page-id-502 div#content, .page-id-504 div#content, .page-id-453 div#content, .page-id-506 div#content { background: #DCDCDC; }
Many thanks for your help!

No worries – as long as you’re happy with the result. ;-)
